Now that I have finally finished the actual film project along with all the final editing, I am able to spend the rest of my time focused to answering and creating my responses to the 4 CCR questions. While planning these, I had to do a little research into the questions using our textbook so I would know how to respond properly and fully to each question. My main struggles when creating my CCR's were having enough content to meet time requirements and choosing what type of creative response to use.
The questions we received were slightly vague but that gave me a lot of opportunities to introduce subtopics in my responses that narrowed down my answers. For all of my CCR's I chose to write bullet points on word documents that remind me of topics I have to speak on in each CCR and the questions I intended to ask in the interview and podcast. For the interview, I decided to treat it as a news story which means that for that video and the podcast I had to develop covers and introductions for each one.
For the podcast, I chose to use melodic, peaceful music as a jingle for the podcast. For the news story, I decided to use an alerting type of score that signifies that it is 'breaking news.' To create a logo for the introduction of the Podcast CCR, I used Canva to design the cover and I used a CapCut template to create the news introduction, the template was created by a creator on CapCut named "Desi27ap"
Lastly, the voiceover presentation and directors commentary were fairly easy to film since they were only me participating. The presentation was created on PowerPoint with the goal of using minimal words and focusing on speaking more than simply reading off the presentation. Lastly, the directors commentary was a little harder to film since I had to film them with two devices at the same time. To overcome this, I filmed an audio track of my voice with my phone while using my MacBook to screen record the editing platforms used for my film.
