This first sound was created simply by recording the alarm off of the phone directly from the microphone of the other phone to the one I was filming with. I decided this was the best way to do the sound since it was easy to film and much louder and engaging than just the sound filmed during the shot. It overall helped the shot feel more realistic and natural than it would have without using the foley sound.

The next sound I created was the sound of the knife during the murder. To create this, I waited until a non-windy day and took the plastic prop knife from the film to stab into dirt in my backyard. I was not happy with the sound created so I researched other methods to mimic the sound of a knife.
My other method that I discovered was the tactic of stabbing the fake plastic knife into an apple. This method created the perfect sound to overlay into my film project with the right amount of volume to go along with the scene. Overall, the recreation of the sounds was very beneficial to the experience of my film project and how it will affect viewers. Being able to make auditory portion of the film more engaging for the audience and hold onto their attention during certain scenes.
