The final thing I have left in this project is just the simple editing of my CCR's. To do this, I chose to use Cap Cut since it is the most accessible and basic to layer my audios and line them up with both proper volume and timing. Most of the videos were just some aligning and cropping but others were much more complicated.
To edit the podcast and news story together, I simply just had to align the cuts of each interview and speaking sections so that they were in order and done properly. After this, I edited the logo portion with the music together and placed it before the actual content. Altogether, the edits were small and easy with minimal overall difficulty but still produced the intended result.
For the presentation with a Voiceover and directors commentary, the editing was fairly straightforward but time consuming. Mostly, I just had to take the visual recordings and layer the audio of me speaking over it with the proper cuts and timings so that everything matched up. Although, I had difficulty finding the proper moments to insert clips and cutting the original audio to line up but it just took time and meticulous effort.
To conclude, editing my CCR's together was significantly easier since I gained so much new experience from filming my project and putting it all together. The most difficult part of the edits was how long it took to get the auditory and visual portions of the CCRs aligned with one another. The overall process of prepping and creating my CCR responses was not too difficult considering how much research I had done prior to the project and how much time I spent focused on every aspect that went into the film.
