Now that my filming is finished and I have chose my final clips I want to use for each scene, I can begin the process of editing. Editing is the process of reviewing and revising the audible and visual content to improve its clarity, length, and structure. By using different strategies, the film project can be cropped, cut, layered, and put together to be finalized.
To do my editing, I will be using the software called iMovie. This software is widely known and used to create videos and has all the tools I require to assemble my project. It also is free, easy to use, and has many features for beginners since I do not have significant knowledge about editing platforms.
Using iMovie, I can easily and efficiently crop my clips to get them to the right length. The platform also allows for simple layering of sounds which is vital to my film since the small sound effects are vital to each and every scene to make sure they result as intended. Lastly, the transition options provide a wide variety of ideas that will have my scenes moving smoothly and coherently.
To summarize, editing is immensely important to a films creation. This is because of the options and tactics it provides to better and improve the quality of the film. To do my editing, I will use iMovie to successfully achieve my goal for the project and make the opening sequence as clean and engaging as possible using the proper edits.
