Some scenes can utilizes said angles to create more meaning and sub context that runs far deeper than the dialogue and action of the scene.
This first camera angle is an over the shoulder shot. This angles is used from both perspectives of the girls from their shoulders up. The angle is important because it allows for a specific and focused view of the girls body language and facial expression to show their emotions and connection with one another. For the audience, it creates intimacy, connection, and involvement for viewers.
Next, the angle at which this scene was filmed is called an establishing shot. This is a wide angle at the beginning of a new setting of a scene to visually introduce the location to an audience to represent where the action of the upcoming scenes are going to take place. This helps in orientating and and embedding the audience into the film.
Lastly, this scene was filmed at a close-up angle. The shot shows the two girls grabbing door handles while the sound of the school bell ringing is audible. This builds a transition into the next scene by using a sound bridge. The angle also helps communicate the two girls entrance into the school.
