A movie's title is the first thing anyone notices about a film since it is used in advertisements and teasers. This is the first impression of the film and is vital to shape viewers initial perspective and engagement of the movie. Although, coming up with an idea for a title can be difficult with the abundance options and deciding what kind of title best matches the atmosphere of a film.
To create a good title, the focus must be on being extremely clear and cohesive which capturing the audiences attention that can accurately reflect on the content. Another important part of a title is making sure it is short and catchy. Because of this, the title I chose for my film is "Silent Pursuit"
This title is perfect for my film because it is very short and suspicious. The two words hint to the films basic concept of the stalker pursuing Charlotte and the shortness of the title creates a sense of urgency. At the same time, it also does not reveal too much at the film or plot in order to spark interest and curiosity.
Since I now that have a title that matches my film, I can do much more for the film's production. For example, I can begin to create the title sequence that I can place in my project. The design of this can help communicate significant meaning and context to the films narrative,
